Get Started
Bloom uses the research-proven principles of ABA to reduce problem behaviors and teach new skills, always with the ultimate goal of improving quality of life and independence.

ABA can be used to teach a variety of meaningful skills:
  • Communication
  • Independent Living Skills
  • Play and Leisure Skills
  • Social Skills
  • Academic skills
  • Community Participation Skills
  • Challenging Behavior Reduction

ABA Therapy

An appropriate assessment is conducted, including interviews with family/teachers, observation, and formal testing.

An individualized treatment plan is developed based on the unique strengths, needs, and learning styles of the child.

Evidence-based interventions are implemented for acquisition of meaningful skills and/or reduction of challenging behaviors. Treatment plans may include:
  • Direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home, school, and community
  • Parent and teacher training
  • Coaching and support for parents and siblings
  • Behavioral shadowing in the school or community

Progress monitoring and ongoing collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals are the keys to success! All data is monitored by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to determine effectiveness, and treatment plans are revised based on the data collected.

School Consultation

Training and consultation are available to schools, childcare centers, and homeschooling families for a specific child or for a group of teachers.

Consultation for a specific child might include a Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Plan or strategies to increase learning in the classroom.
